Mickey with "Maggie"Born in West-Berlin with english "Blood" and began his carreer at School at the age of 8 as a winner of the Music competition for Classic music. One year later he continued with a School-Band playing Hot-Jazz / Dixieland music (Banjo), formed by Teachers and Students called "GS Hot-Jazz Integration". With the School-Band came the first recording accompanied by many performances and concerts. During his School- time he formed his first Band "Blue Bridge", which, after his School, went on Tour throughout Europe and later followed with numerous recordings. After a tragic accident of the Band in 1979, where 3 members died, Mickey gave up the Bandproject and worked in his Studio on further original Material. He made his Diploma as a Sound Engineer in 1981 to secure his future and formed the Trio "Smokescreen", which also toured Europe and made recordings. Through his recognition he played numerous Tours and Sessions with: Shelly West, Mo Bandy, Royce Barry, Allman Brothers, Charlie Daniels Band, The Wood Brothers, Freddie Fender, Jon Anderson, Ten Years After, Scorpions, Dave Dudley with Drifters Caravan, Tommy Overstreet, Truck Stop, Man, Van der Graaf Generator, Joy Fleming, Costa Cordalis, Rare Earth, Frumpy with Inga Rumpf, Sharkknives, Horsepower, Smokey Harris, Fugitives, King's Cotton, Bellamy Brothers, Larry Green with Cajun Cowboys, Rob Hawkins Band, Scooter Lee, Boss Band, Sweethearts of the Rodeo and many others. He also worked in different Productions, Sessions and Recording Acts with: Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple), Jon Lord (Deep Purple), Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Rory Gallagher, Herb Ellis, Yngwie Malmsteen (Rising Force), Freddie Mercury (Queen), Albert Lee with Hogan's Heroes, Gordon Giltrap, Peter Maffay, Josha Joy, Peter Horton, Didier Lafitte (Jonny Halliday Band), Yannik Monet, Autumn Leaves, Lynn Morris, Tom Astor, Jill Morris, Chris Gaffney, Danny Ott, Billy Goodman (Goodman Brothers), Jackson Browne, Kid Rock and many, many more.

A real virtuose on his Guitar and formed 1987 his Band DRIVIN' FORCE. He is the main Writer/Arranger of the Original- and Cover - Material of the Band. He spends most time in his Studio working on new Material and Arrangements, when he's not on tour with his Band or as a Sideman for other Artists. The Music- Magazin "Guitar Player" awarded him twice as the best european Guitarist in 1983 and 1984. The german Music- Magazin "Fachblatt" noted him as the one of the best Soloplayers for Country/Rock, the british "Melody Maker" praised him as one of the best european Musicians and the "Musical Express" quoted him 1977 as the best Newcomer in the category Lead- Guitarist. He apeared in numerous Broadcasts for Radio and Television throughout Europe, including several Music- Productions and Interviews with his Band and many other Performers.
